The YWAM lifestyle is simple. Students live dormitory style in houses near the Training Center with people of various nations, cultures and denominations. Meals: Dining is at the Training Center during the week and the various homes on the weekends. As part of the curriculum and to keep tuition costs low, each student works approximately ten hours per week, usually two hours at a time, at assigned work duties around the facility. We assign jobs taking into account age and physical ability. We are blessed to have many outreach opportunities as well as times of fun. Every afternoon from 4-6, our staff and students can enjoy tennis, swimming, basketball, volleyball, biking, canoeing, working out on the nautilus equipment, relaxing in the Jacuzzi or just kicking back and enjoying the sunshine and a good book. The fellowship is wonderful and often we learn much form these enriching relationships. |
