Attractions

The YWAM Base is located north of Tampa, Florida in a secluded forest where golf, tennis, swimming, biking and canoeing are favorite pastimes. The main base is fortunate to have our own tennis and basketball court, Nautilus equipment, Jacuzzi, and 30’ above ground swimming pool. Tampa is a world class city just 40 minutes south of our training facility. Tampa Airport is a 50 minute drive. The city of Tampa and surrounding areas boast beautiful beaches, Busch Gardens, museums, zoo, many shopping centers, Broadway touring theater, movie theaters and even a Drive–In theater close to the Training center. Tampa Bay was originally called the “Bay of the Holy Spirit”.

The city of Orlando is only one hour away and is famous for their many attractions, amusement parks, shopping, and things to do. Some favorites include: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and Discovery Cove, Daytona International Speedway, Gatorland, The Holy Land Experience, Kennedy Space Center, Orlando Science Center, and Ripley's Believe it or Not.
